"Say A Prayer"

REV. DAN HOKE
Senior Pastor

I need your prayers.

Times of prosperity provide greater opportunities to serve God. We have been blessed by a strong economy. At the same time there are more needs for us to expand the work of Christ through this church. To that end we have our annual financial appeal entitled "Weaving A Living Fabric." Sunday, March 5 is commitment Sunday. Please complete your commitment card if that has not been done.

But, beyond that... ABOVE THAT... WHAT I NEED IS YOUR PRAYER SUPPORT.

Say a prayer that every member will seek from God what he or she can do in this giving opportunity.

Say a prayer for the staff, the lay leadership and for me... for the Holy Spirit to be our inspiration, guidance, energy and insight.

Say a prayer for our Church... for us to bring alive the spiritual gifts God has placed in our congregation.

Say a prayer that we will become contagious Christians reaching out to strangers telling them of the love of God in Christ.

Say a prayer that we will bring the healing of Jesus Christ to those among us that are suffering the pain of disappointment, the hurt of loneliness, the pain of failed dreams and the loss of loved ones.

Say a prayer that no one need be hurting that enters in and takes part of the loving family of Plymouth Park United Methodist family in Christ.

Thank you for being my prayer partner.
Dan
