This is a picture of our original control room which was the sole area of "Radio Sangley" when I went there in Mid 1953.The Sailor in the picture is worth mentioning. His name was ALAN COPELAND. He was from San Diego, California, and when this picture was taken was doing a record show. I mention him because in later years he became leader of a prominent choral group known as the Alan Copeland singers and was part of the Red Skelton TV show for some time. Of course, when I took this picture I had no way of knowing that would happen...
